By accessing or using PollPrice, you acknowledge and agree to the practices outlined in this policy.

PollPrice is an automated B2B price intelligence platform designed to monitor publicly accessible e-commerce product listings.

• No Personal Data Collected from Monitored Stores: Our automated pollers and headless browser workers extract only publicly available product catalog metadata, specifically structured microdata (Schema.org JSON-LD), product titles, currency codes, price values, and stock availability statuses. We do not extract, store, or process consumer personal data, shopping cart sessions, customer reviews with PII, or checkout information from monitored target domains.
• Polite Crawling Cadence: All polling workers strictly adhere to a 2-to-5 second crawl delay per domain, respecting standard HTTP rate limits, circuit breaker policies (HTTP 429 backoff), and server health.
• Public Information Only: We do not bypass login firewalls, private authentication walls, or encrypted paywalls to obtain pricing information.

When you register an operator workspace on PollPrice, we collect:

1. Account Credentials: Name, business email address, hashed passwords, and optional OAuth profile details (e.g. Google Sign-In).
2. Monitored Target URLs & Master SKUs: Product URLs and internal product labels you configure within your workspace.
3. Outbound Notification Endpoints: Destination channel endpoints you authorize, such as Telegram Bot Chat IDs, Discord Webhook URLs, custom HMAC-SHA256 HTTP endpoints, and notification email addresses.
4. Telemetry & System Logs: Anonymized IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and diagnostic polling performance logs for billing and quota enforcement.

We process merchant account data strictly for:

• Discarding duplicated URL poll requests across multi-tenant workspaces to minimize redundant load on third-party servers.
• Triggering real-time undercut, stock change, and price drop notifications to your configured channels.
• Normalizing cross-border competitor pricing into your storefront's base currency via FX benchmark conversion.
• Generating historical price movement charts and downloadable CSV exports.
• Enforcing database-driven subscription plan entitlements (Free, Pro, Ultra).

PollPrice communicates with select third-party service providers solely to execute operational tasks:

• Telegram Bot API: Dispatches configured price drop text messages to your verified Telegram Chat ID.
• Discord Webhook API: Posts rich price comparison embeds to channels you specify.
• Transactional Email Service: Sends security notices and HTML price drop alerts to your registered email address.
• Payment Gateways: Handles recurring subscription billing under PCI-DSS compliance. We never store raw payment card details on our servers.

Historical price logs are retained strictly in accordance with your account's subscription tier:

• Free Tier: Retained for 14 days before automated background pruning.
• Pro Tier: Retained for 90 days.
• Ultra Tier: Retained for 365 days.

When a tracked product URL is deleted by an operator, associated historical price snapshots are permanently removed or anonymized upon the next scheduled maintenance pruning run.

We implement industry-standard technical measures to safeguard merchant workspace data, including:

• HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit.
• HMAC-SHA256 digital signatures on all outbound JSON webhook payloads to ensure payload authenticity.
• Encrypted database storage for API tokens and webhook secrets.

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), registered users hold rights to access, rectify, export, or delete their personal account data.
